Britain’s Best Office Dog

We’re celebrating the furry friends who make our workplaces better.

At Interaction, we design and build offices that reflect the unique culture of every organisation we work with, from coworking spaces to corporate headquarters. But beyond the physical space, we know that what truly makes an office special is its people – and sometimes, its dogs.

Meet our office dogs

FAQs

When is the entry deadline?

Submissions open Monday 2nd December 2024 and will be open until Friday 12th December 2025.

Is there a fee to enter?

No, this competition is completely free!

Can I enter more than once?

We only need one entry per dog, as all previous entries will automatically be considered for each monthly winner. If your office has multiple dogs, you’re welcome to enter each one individually (as long as you have permission to share their photos and stories).

Who is eligible?

Office-based employees with dogs that regularly visit their workplaces. Home workers and non-office environments are not eligible.

How many winners will there be?

We will choose one Winner of the Month on the last Friday of every month in 2025, leading up to a single Grand Winner in December 2025.

What are the prizes?

The lucky pup voted Dog of the Month will receive a doggy prize box and a hamper of tasty goodies to share with their office.

The Grand Winner will win a two-night stay at a luxurious dog-friendly hotel for the winning dog, their owner and a plus one.

Who are the judges?

We have three brilliant judges on board to choose our winners:

Emily Birch is a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and the owner of The Office Dog, who help businesses create pet friendly workspaces, letting them reap the rewards of having dogs in their offices. Outside of work, Emily has two border collies and one cocker spaniel that she trains in agility in her spare time, so she’s never far from a dog or two!

Dr Eloise Warrilow is an Occupational Psychologist and Researcher and she knows just how much joy dogs can bring to a workplace. Eloise has written a Thesis for University of London called ‘Dog-friendly workplaces: what works, what does not, and what lessons have been learned’. She can’t wait to celebrate all the fantastic office dogs out there.

Garry James is the marketing guru at coworking firm, FOUNDRY. All of FOUNDRY’s offices are dog-friendly and Garry loves getting to work with some friendly pooches. He’s looking forward to seeing some great photos of your office dogs!

What makes a strong entry?

The judges are looking for a dog that adds joy to the office and improves the experience for everybody, so be clear about how your dog brings something special to the workplace. A great photo and good description are vital, and stories and anecdotes will bring your entry to life.
