Runway East makes its mark in the Midlands

Runway East, the UK’s fastest-growing co-working provider, has made its way to the Midlands, having completed its 10th project with Interaction.

The latest Runway East spot is the ground and sixth floors of the Arca Building, just across the road from New Street station. The project features all the colour and personality that have become synonymous with Runway East, whilst the interior styling package makes the space feel unique and distinct to Birmingham.

Runway East offices are designed to encourage community and collaboration between members. A large breakout area, three teapoints – each with a distinct identity, and the sixth-floor roof terrace all help encourage spontaneous interactions among members.

Flexible working is key – there are multiple bookable meeting rooms for smaller and larger teams, focus phone booths and informal work spaces. A 70s-style sunken conversation pit is the star of the show, offering a unique spot for informal meetings.

For one of our largest interior styling packages to date, we championed local artists and makers. Birmingham-made prints adorn the wall, creating colourful gallery walls. With a Black Sabbath print, meeting rooms named after Cadbury bars and a miniature metal bull, there’s no doubt which city you’re working in.

As is always the way with Runway East projects, this workspace exudes colour, personality and quirky vibes. Interested in looking at our other Runway East case studies? Check them out here.
