From townhouse charm to city-centre chic
After 12 years in their Georgian townhouse office on Bristol’s Whiteladies Road, the Bristol Knight Frank team were ready for a change of scenery. Knight Frank’s hunt for a new spot to call home led them to Assembly B, a new development in the centre of Temple Quay – Bristol’s growing business district.
Working with the Knight Frank team, Interaction were briefed to design the new space, with a focus on capturing the company’s culture and identity. The new workspace is chic and luxurious – an ideal fit for one of Bristol’s leading property agents.
Interaction have created a stunning new office for us. It really is a testament to their creativity and professionalism. The space was delivered on time, within budget and problems along the way were solved by the Interaction team before we even knew they existed!

A focus on community
Bringing the team together
Previously spread across three floors, Knight Frank wanted a space that would bring their team together and foster reconnection. Now, with an open-plan layout on a single floor, the new office offers employees chances to connect and collaborate more freely. Staff are encouraged to hot-desk within their departments, breaking down silos and encouraging new connections across the team.
Knight Frank’s previous office lacked smaller private spaces, so we included multiple options for confidential conversations. A spacious boardroom provides the ideal setting for hosting clients, while two smaller rooms and two soundproof Boss Design pods offer employees flexible, private spaces when needed.
A large breakout space helps build community, featuring a new snooker table and vintage arcade machine carried over from the old office. A hanging disco ball earmarks the space as one for fun. The new space also includes a spin room, encouraging employees to stay active during the working day.
Look and feel
Chic and sophisticated
Knight Frank wanted their new office to feel professional while reflecting their unique culture. Moody blues and browns set a sophisticated tone, softened by pops of light pink. Italian-made terracotta tiles subtly reference the Knight Frank logo, adding a personal touch.
Large windows along one side flood the space with natural light and offer sweeping views over Bristol, while ample planting brings a touch of the outdoors inside.
For an entry space with impact, Knight Frank opted for a welcoming area over a formal reception. We designed this entry to be cosy and inviting, with a certain ‘wow factor’ thanks to a curved ceiling lighting panel and flowing floor patterns. The result is an inviting entryway that draws you in – chic, sophisticated, and perfectly suited for Bristol’s property experts.
