The first serviced office space in the South West, delivered snag-free.
Serviced office provider Clarendon Business Centres seized the opportunity to add to their growing portfolio and create their first serviced office space in the South West.
Clarendon asked Interaction to design their new serviced office space in Cambridge House, Bath – and to provide them with a first-rate, unique, high specification space in a ’boutique hotel’ style. Interaction delivered the 13,000 sq ft space over four floors, snag free – and the client is absolutely delighted with the result.
Delicious hats
Shapes and space
The design that Interaction created is akin to a 5-star hotel and each floor has its own distinctive feel and look, with an overall ‘shape’ theme.
The floors individual themes include circle, hexagon, triangle and rectangle. Interaction designed the whole space to have a discernible feeling of quality. Every floor has its own unique tea point and phone booth with indicative lights that show whether the room is occupied. Bespoke joinery items, clean lines and muted colours that reinforce the sense of class and luxury.
The finished result sets it apart from Clarendon’s serviced office competitors, and provides a high-end, contemporary space to give the small businesses of Bath the tools they need to grow.
The client said if we delivered it snag-free they’d “eat their hat”.
On hand-over the team made a very special ‘hat’ cake, especially for the client to eat. It was delicious apparently.
