Maximising Space

One of the key goals of the project was to ensure the original office and the extension felt like a single space. Keeping the idea of “flowing” through the building central, we designed plenty of nooks and breakout areas whilst still ensuring the space felt open. Colours define spaces rather than walls, and curves replace angles to add to the feeling of easy movement throughout.

Classic height-adjustable workspaces are set up near the windows to optimise natural light, complemented by sit/stand booths, a lockable wellbeing room and meeting rooms with top of the range acoustic panelling and seamless technology tucked away.

A passage linking the existing and new office serves as a journey in itself, with steps replaced by a gentle ramp and mood lighting falling on preserved moss and copper-leaf finishes creating an ambience that’s anything but corridor-like.

In the main space a new mezzanine level has been installed to increase floor space and take advantage of the high ceilings, providing a great space for sales meetings or informal catchups.

A tiered seating area creates a space for huddles, town halls and events, with power points on every step. After an event, what better way to unwind and/or network than at the bespoke nightclub-style bar, with mood lighting, leather banquettes and gold and copper tones creating the perfect backdrop for some serious socialising.
