Runway East were looking to expand their London portfolio and following our successful partnership and fit-out of their Bristol hub, Interaction were enlisted to design and build another vibrant and community-focused space opposite the Shard in London Bridge.

Each Runway East coworking space is designed to promote a collaborative culture and a creative mindset, setting the belief that each company under their roof can excel together.

As one of their largest hubs in their portfolio, there’s plenty of space to cater for everyone’s needs. Key areas include a spacious rooftop terrace with views across central London and a bright, welcoming café space for members to relax, network and collaborate.

Runway East spaces feature an abundance of design quirks and individual touches. In 2018, before the rebrand, this included a retired fixed wing plane cockpit in the core breakout and event space, to stripped back ceilings with exposed piping, ensuring each space is unique and full of character.

Across 4 floors, the fit-out took place in two phases to allow members to begin populating the space.
